Renée C. Quint of Overland Park and James R. Diver of Grove, Okla., exchanged wedding vows at the Mildale Farm in Edgerton, Kan., on Oct. 11, 2008.

The bride is the daughter of Aaron and the late Betsy Quint of Paola.

The groom is the son of Bob and Judy Diver of Pryor, Okla.

The Rev. Randy Hamill conducted the early evening outdoor ceremony.

Dan Creech, cousin of the bride, was the guitarist, and Hannah Hamill was the soloist. Songs were “Bubbly,” “Forever” and “When You Say Nothing at All.”

Wedding colors were orange, yellow, sage green and dark purple. 

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white silk shantung fitted strapless gown with draped drop waist bodice, a full trumpet skirt and a chapel train. A simple veil completed the ensemble.

Rachel Pinkerton served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Peters, Rebecca Williams, Maggie Delaney and Heather Allee. They wore thyme green satin knee-length strapless dresses with empire waist, pleated bodice and skirt detail.

Flower girls were Landri Allee and Grace McCoy.

Shaun Jordan served as best man. Groomsmen were Scott Rutledge, John Morgan, Aaron Finley and Nathan Quint, brother of the bride.

As part of the ceremony, family members carried flowers in memory of the bride’s mother and the couple’s grandparents who are deceased.

A reception was held at the stable at Mildale Farm. The area was lit with hundreds of white twinkling lights. As the couple left the reception, guests holding sparklers flanked both sides of the brick entryway.

The couple took a wedding trip to Sandals Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

Mrs. Diver is a 2004 graduate of the University of Kansas. She is an account executive for Hemisphere Marketing which is based in Kansas City, Kan.

Her husband is a 2004 graduate of Oklahoma State University and is the owner of Diver’s Custom Detail in Grove, Okla.

The Divers are at home in Grove.
