In what might have been its toughest test of the season, the Paola girls' basketball team passed with flying colors in a 55-50 victory over previously unbeaten Gardner-Edgerton on Thursday in Paola. The Panthers found themselves down big in the first quarter but rallied to tie the game late. Look for full coverage in Wednesday's Miami County Republic.
