 For three quarters, the Paola boys' basketball team went toe-to-toe with a bigger, faster Gardner-Edgerton team on Thursday in Paola. But the fourth quarter proved to be too much for the Panthers. Gardner used a big fourth quarter to run past Paola 59-45, and the Panthers' record now sits at 2-3 on the season. The Panthers held the lead for most of the first half, but the Blazers outscored them 21-11 in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
