The Broncos got homecoming night started off right in Spring Hill on Friday night, upsetting Ottawa 57-45 to hand the Cyclones their first loss of the season. “When a team is fortunate enough to beat an undefeated team it is a tremendous boost to your team’s confidence and helps to solidify their work ethic,” Spring Hill coach Rick O’Neil said. Derrick Koehn provided the offensive spark in the first half, scoring eight of his 12 points in the first two quarters. Jordan Miller took over in the third quarter, scoring eight of his game-high 14 points in the frame as Spring Hill outscored Ottawa 18-12. James Beard scored 10 points. Cody Swope scored six points. Other players scoring for the Broncos were Nathan Stiles, Colton Ghumm, Mitch Watson, Patrick Donahue and Brady Donahue.
