Matthew Lee Fraiser Noblet, 19, Osawatomie, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, after an automobile accident in Miami County.

He was born in Overland Park on July 21, 1989, to Daniel and Marjorie Packard-Noblet. He graduated from Paola High School in 2008.

During his high school years, he was employed by All Star Moving Co. of Paola and was currently employed by American Eagle distribution plant in Ottawa. He enjoyed fly-fishing, photography, spending time with his dog, G Loomis, and driving his 2008 Toyota Scion.

He had been a passionate wrestler since the age of 8, traveling to state and national tournaments. He was a member of USA Wrestling. In February 2008, he was recognized as regional wrestler of the year. He also received Outstanding All-American Wrestler awards on multiple occasions and was a 2003 national
Greco-Roman champion and freestyle runner-up.

Survivors include his mother, Marjorie Packard-Noblet of Osawatomie; sisters, Rebecca Franitza of Blue Springs, Mo., and Casey Folsom of Osawatomie; brother, Mark Folsom of Emporia; grandmother, Vada Earleen Packard of Osawatomie; and niece and nephew Acacia and Justus Kelley, both of Osawatomie. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Pearl Street Baptist Church, 7 Baptiste Dr., Paola. Arrangements are by Penwell-Gabel Paola Chapel, 305 N. Pearl St., Paola, KS 66071, (913) 294-2372.
