Prairie Creek Elementary School is preparing for the annual Mustang March.

The three-mile walk and run is scheduled for April 17. Students will participate in the fund-raiser, which will help provide for educational and activity initiatives that will benefit the school.

The goal of the event is to educate students within the district about exercise, nutrition and community relations.

The PCES Parent-Teacher Organization is looking for organizations to sponsor the Mustang March by making either a monetary or non-monetary donations. Monetary donations will be used for items such as T-shirts, snacks and prizes for participants. Organizations that makes donations will receive recognition on T-shirts and event signs. The non-monetary donations, including gift cards, baskets, coupons, tickets and apparel, will be used for a raffle.

All monetary and non-monetary donations should be mailed to PCES PTO, 17077 West 165th St., Olathe, KS 66062. Monetary donations should be made payable to PCES PTO.
