After having success with “Thank You for the Music,” in March, the Broadway review is preparing for a trip to Never Land with a new musical. Auditions for “Peter Pan the musical” are scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 27 at the Spring Hill Community Center, 613 S. Race St. A variety of speaking and signing roles are available for children ages 6 to 13. The maximum participation is set at 30. All performers will be required to audition, and each performer is guaranteed a speaking part. Children 9 and older are being asked to prepare a one-minute vocal music selection. Children younger than 9 can audition solo or sing with a group. There will also be an opportunity to help with set design, costumes and props. Rehearsals are scheduled to take place 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sundays, 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays from April 15 to June 19. The performance will take place June 19 and June 20. The cost for participation is $45. For more information, contact the Spring Hill Recreation Commission at (913) 592-2214. Registration is available online at www.springhillrec.org.
