  •     Occupation: I am the investment accounting and treasury services manager for a life insurance holding company. I also own with my wife Style Promotions, LLC, an event marketing company.

  •     Education: B.A. Accounting, Fort Hays State University
  •     Family: Wife Monica, Son Austin in 8th grade at SHMS, Daughter Regan in 5th grade at Spring Hill Intermediate School
  •     Political Party Affiliation: Independent

Why are you running for a position on the city council?

I feel my professional experience in business and finance can be an asset to our community, especially during these times of uncertainty and economic conditions.

What are some of the most important issues in Spring Hill right now?

1) Working with other water districts to create economies of scale to lower our water rates 2) Preservation and revitalization of the city center core and downtown 3) Finding a permanent police department headquarters closer to the city center 4) Keeping our city as a place to attract business and residents 5) Continuation of park and amenities enhancements.

If you are elected, what will you bring to the position?


I would bring to the city my strong financial experience and leadership as well as consensus building, or the idea that everyone’s voice and opinion is important and valuable to the city. I would also encourage the city leadership to continue to work together to build for the future.

Are you involved in any other organizations?

I am currently appointed as a Spring Hill Planning Commissioner; KC FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association; Member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

What do you like best about the Spring Hill community?


Spring Hill is a great place to live and raise a family. I know we can continue to build on our strong foundations. I am dedicated to the community of Spring Hill and would work for the people if elected to the city council.
