Nancy Morris of Paola announces the engagement of her daughter, Katie Morris, to Russ Hermreck, all of Paola. The bride-elect is also the daughter of Don Morris of Paola. She is a 2005 graduate of the University of Saint Mary, where she received a bachelor of science degree in child development. She is employed as a site director for YMCA. The groom-elect is the son of Lee and Deanna Hermreck of Paola. He is a 2007 graduate of Emporia State University where he earned a degree in elementary education. He is a first grade teacher at Cottonwood Elementary School. A July 3 wedding will be held in Fort Myers Beach, Fla.
