Allen Baldridge of Paola and Sarah Barron of Prairie Village announce their engagement and approaching marriage. The bride-elect is the daughter of Dr. Claire and Timothy Barron of Prairie Village. She graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School in 2000. She is a 2004 graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor of science degree in animal science and industry. She is a senior veterinary medical student and graduate student of biomedical sciences.  The groom-elect is the son of Dr. Minnie and Mark Baldridge of Paola. He graduated from Paola High School in 2000. He is a 2003 graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor of science degree in animal science and industry and, in 2007, he received a doctor of veterinary medicine degree. He is a large and small animal veterinarian at Town & Country Equine Hospital in Louisburg. The couple plan to be married Aug. 29 at Stoney Point Hall in Baldwin City.
