Carra Mader ran down three gold medals and set a new Paola Middle School sixth-grade girls’ track and field meet record in the process.

Mader won the 200-meter dash in a new class record time of 31.2 seconds.

She added gold in the hurdles with a time of 14.7.

Cassie Blanc, Lindsey Johnson, Laccie Burgoon and Mader won the medley relay with a time of 2 minutes, 34 seconds.

Students, who will be able to compete for the Panthers as seventh-graders next year, were given a chance to see what the sport was all about during the meet held the end of the school year.

Cace McDowell ran a time of 1:24.1 for first place in the 400-meter run.
Michaela Conn, Mariah Dairy, Ali Peterson and McDowell ran a time of 2:31 for first place in the 4x200-meter relay.

Alex Aveniam placed first in the long jump with a leap of 10 feet, 11.5 inches.

Abbie Herman cleared 3-0 to win the high jump.

Kenna Haley placed first in the ball throw with a distance of 118-6.25.

Sakeena Agha crossed the finish line in 15.2 seconds to win the 100-meter dash.

Paige Wiseman, Mallory Gilliland, Blanc and Dairy won the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 1:06.6
Blanc placed second in the long jump with a leap of 10-10.75. She was second in the hurdles with a time of 16.2.

Megan Ingersol was second in the high jump, clearing 3-6. She was third in the hurdles with a time of 16.7.

Madison O’Brien placed second in the ball throw with a mark of 101-4.

Dairy was second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 15.8. She placed third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 34.5.

Marissa Dickey crossed the finish line in 33.0 to win the 200-meter dash.

Laccie Warren won the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:26.4.

Elizabeth Schroeder, Anna Faust, Morgan Andrews and Aveniam placed second in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 1:10.1.
Brittany Thompson, Brittany Wellman, Katie Sample and Natalie Eppler were second in the medley relay with a time of 2:52.5.
Monica Sanchez was third in the long jump with a mark of 10-10.25.

Tiana Moala and O’Brien tied for third place in the high jump, clearing 3-4.

Gilliland was third in the ball throw with a distance of 98-9.5.

Andrews placed third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 16.2.

Alex Timblin ran a time of 1:27.1 for third place in the 400-meter dash.

Katie Biggs, Jillian Armstrong, Whitney McDaniels and Sanchez placed third in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 1:10.2.

Emily Waggoner, Katie Wilson, Warren and Timblin placed third in the medley relay with a time of 3:01.
