Jill Schlagel and Lonnie Singmaster announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Rebecca Schlagel of Spring Hill, to Mark Grisier of Yates Center, Kan.  The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Ralph Schlagel. She is a 2007 graduate of Pittsburg State University with a bachelor of science degree in recreation and a minor in business administration. In 2008, she received a master of science degree in sports and leisure service management. She is a recreation director for Parsons Recreation Commission in Parsons, Kan. The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Richard and Linda Grisier. He graduated from Pittsburg State University in 2008 with a bachelor of technology degree in diesel and heavy equipment. He is employed as a farm and ranch manager. The couple is planning a Sept. 26 wedding in Yates Center.
