Jon and Sharon Corson Flint of Hoyt, Kan., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family on Saturday. After graduating from Paola High School and Kansas State University, the couple moved to Arizona, returning to Kansas in 1970. Jon worked for the Arizona State Department for eight years, and then worked for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment for 26 years before retiring in 1996. Sharon retired in 1999 after 32 years as an educator, working the last 27 years in the Seaman school district in Topeka. The couple has two daughters, Cheryl Michaelis of Wamego and Lisa Flint of Columbia, Mo.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
