Duard and Mary Jo Green will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 11 at Spring Hill United Methodist Church. Mary Jo Cantrall and Duard E. Green Jr. were married at the Spring Hill United Methodist Church Oct. 11, 1959. They are natives of Spring Hill, and have spent most of the last 34 years in Olathe and Stilwell. Mr. Green worked for Delco Remy, a General Motors Co., in Olathe. He also worked construction and hauled rock for Reno in Stanley. After his retirement, he has enjoyed spending time at home, mowing and fishing. Mrs. Green worked for Farmers Insurance Group of Overland Park. She has enjoyed spending time at home since retiring. Both the Greens enjoy time spent with their grandsons. The Greens have one daughter, Stacey R. Knauss, and her husband David J. Knauss of Paola, and two grandsons, Samuel and Jacob Knauss.
