A group of local home-schooled students will be showing off their business talents Friday afternoon at Cross Point Assembly of God in Paola. H.O.P.E. (Homeschool Organization of Parent Educators), which includes students from kindergarten through high school mainly in Miami and Linn counties, will be hosting the event. It is set to take place from 1 to 4 p.m. in the church’s gymnasium at 1016 N. Pearl St. Coordinator Pam Dunlop said the public is invited to attend, and students will be selling products that they determined would be interesting to people.
