The annual food drive for the Spring Hill High School Student Council began Sunday.

Students began with a community food raid. Students visited neighborhoods in the community and asked for non-perishable items. Collected items will be given to the Spring Hill Food Pantry.

The drive is scheduled to end Friday. During the week, students will participate in a “food fight,” in their home room. Participants will compete for a homemade breakfast prepared by teacher Dayna Hill’s food class.
For more information about the drive, contact Katie George or Gissel McDonald at (913) 592-7299.
