| Paola wrestlers 34-18 in home meet |

ExZavier Miller went 3-0 with three pins as the Paola Middle School wrestling team continued its winning ways in a home meet last week. The Panthers won 34 of 52 matches in home action Nov. 9 against Louisburg, Osawatomie and Jayhawk-Linn.  Paola has now won 97 of 135 matches during its first three meets this season. Miller wrestles at 104 pounds. He is 7-1 on the season. Gianni Trook competed in three tight matches, winning two of the three. He scored an 8-5 decision, won 5-4 and lost a close 7-6 decision. Trook wrestles at 109 pounds. Trook, a seventh-grader who came into this season with a full year of experience from the Paola Kids Wrestling Club in which he learned on the mat, is 4-1 on the season. Jaymes Carter, 109 pounds, posted a record of 2-0 with a pin and a 5-4 decision. Corsey Stallbaumer, 137 pounds, was 2-0 with two pins in front of the hometown crowd. He is undefeated in his last two meets, registering four wins with four pins. Karsten Gray, 127 pounds, was 2-0 with a 4-0 decision and a pin. Joe Buchman, 124 pounds, was 2-0 with a 9-3 decision and a pin. Isaac Dulgarian, 109 pounds, was 1-0 with a pin. Zach Chapman was 1-0 with a 4-2 decision at 83 pounds. D.J. Mitchell, 121 pounds, was 1-0, scoring an 8-4 decision. Jake Robison, 111 pounds, was 1-0 with an 9-0 decision. Kyle Gray, 112 pounds, was 1-0 with a pin. Ryan Brocker, 99 pounds, was 1-1 with a pin. Chase Patton was 1-1 with a pin at 123 pounds. Kevin Benton, 155 pounds, was 1-1. Ben Rodriguez, 119 pounds, was 1-1 with a pin. Conner Patton, 110 pounds, was 1-1. Conner Maynard, 118 pounds, was 1-1 with a 12-3 decision. Chase Jorgensen was 1-1 with a pin at 135 pounds. Colt Evans, 91 pounds, was 1-1 with a 12-0 decision. Dakota Oliver, 90 pounds, was 1-1 with a pin. Marcus Rademacher was 1-1 with a pin at 109 pounds. Brennan Haley, 136 pounds, was 1-1 with a pin. Other Paola wrestlers competing in the home event were Blake Sims (116), Clayton Sims (121), Kyndon Tarter (109) and Tanner Loveland, (158). Paola is coached by David Nash and Russ Hermreck.
