The Johnson County Multi-Service Center and Lazy C Ranch is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner for the residents of Spring Hill. The dinner is scheduled to take place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving at the Multi-Service Center, 401 N. Madison St. “We were wanting to do something different this year, and as the Multi-Service Center will not be doing any holiday events in the future (2010),” said Stevie Morris of the Multi-Service Center in a written statement. “We wanted to go out with a bang.” Some of the foods listed include turkey, dressing and other traditional holiday items. Participants are being asked to bring something to share. Items can include a salad, vegetable, snack or a dessert. Tickets and reservations are required for the event and are available at the Multi-Service Center.
