BlackHawk is preparing for a fun day with the community. BlackHawk Development has scheduled a holiday celebration from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Dec. 3 at the retail and professional building at 223rd Street and U.S. Highway 169. The event will feature an appearance from Santa Claus and contests, prizes and music. A scavenger hunt for the program includes $5 to $15 gift cards for El Tapatio, Snip n Clip, Taste of China, Pizza Hut, Simple Care and Subway. BlackHawk retail and service providers will also provide saving offers and free giveaways during the event. “There will be cider and cookies for all who come, and it will be a great time for the whole family,” said Grant Merritt of BlackHawk in a news release. “Please come and help us celebrate the holidays at BlackHawk Development on Thursday, Dec. 3.” Spring Hill High School Madrigals will entertain at the BlackHawk Retail Center, 22360-98 S. Harrison St. Santa is set to be stationed at the BlackHawk Professional Building, 22450 S. Harrison St.
