Church reaches out to widows, single moms PDF Print E-mail

Local single mothers and/or widows have the opportunity to get a free oil change for their vehicle Saturday thanks to efforts of volunteers at Pearl Street Baptist Church.

The church plans to provide all the necessary supplies for the oil changes, including oil and oil filters. The event is scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 7 Baptiste Drive.

Interested women are encouraged to pre-register for the event and receive more detailed information. The church will need the make, model and year of the vehicle so that proper supplies can be pre-ordered, according to a news release.
