Vivian M. Weien, 57, Ottawa, died Nov. 4, 2012.
She was born Feb. 12, 1955, in Garnett, the daughter of Sylvester and Evelyn Renyer Lutz.
She lived in Ottawa for the last 28 years, moving from Richmond. She had previously lived in the Garnett, Westphalia area.
She graduated from Garnett High School in 1973, and later graduated from a floral design school in Kansas City.
On July 20, 1975, she was united in marriage to Ron Weien in Welda, Kan. He survives of the home.
She was a lifelong florist, owning and operating A Bloomin Florist in Ottawa from 1985 to 2006, now known as Turner Flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.
Survivors include her husband, Ron (Paola UPS driver) of the home; two sons, Ronnie Weien (Manda) of Plainville, Kan., and Nicklas Weien (Catie) of Greenville, S.C.; two sisters, Rose Highberger (Maurice) of Fountain Hill, Ariz., and Marcella Feuerborn (Keith) of Ottawa; three brothers, Rod Lutz (Ann) of Ottawa, Dayton Lutz (Mary) of Garnett and Milton Lutz (Carol) of Richmond; and one grandchild is expected.
Family and friends will meet at Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, KS 66067, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Cremation is planned.
Inurnment will be held at a later date.
