GARNETT – The Lady Cat softball team had more hits, 11 to 10, but came up short in a loss at Anderson County.

Louisburg lost to Anderson County 10-6 on Thursday, April 25. Louisburg scored six runs on 11 hits. Anderson County had 10 hits, sending home 10 runs.

Molly Rison had two hits and drove home two runs.

Lauren Cutshaw had three base hits, drove in one run and scored.

Kayla Willey had two hits and scored. Alyse Moore, singled, drove in one run and stole a base.

Madison Svoboda and Karson Griggs singled, drove in one run and scored. Riley Ratliff singled and scored. Jordan Mynsted scored.

Brooklyn Diederich started the game, allowing nine runs on 10 hits in four innings. She struck out two.

August Daniels and Mynsted pitched in relief.
