OTTAWA — The Osawatomie Lady Trojans softball team ended its season in the Class 4A regional softball tournament at Orils Cox Field in Ottawa.

Osawatomie lost to Chanute in the opening round Tuesday, May 14, by a final score of 10-1.

The Osawatomie Lady Trojans ended the season with a record of 8-8.

Playing in her final high school softball game for Osawatomie was senior Lindsay Shippy.

Meadow Stull doubled. Courtney Harris had a base hit and drove in one run.

Madie Ballou walked, singled and scored.

Molly Spencer walked twice and singled.

Kaitlyn Fanning, Tara Haag and Grace Young singled.

Fanning pitched the complete game.
