PITTSBURG — The Spring Hill baseball team had its season come to an end in a tough loss against De Soto in the Class 5A regional at Jaycee Field.

Spring Hill lost to the De Soto Wildcats by a final of 6-1 on Tuesday, May 14.

Playing in their final high school baseball game for Spring Hill were Jordan Smith, Jake Scoma, Caleb Pahl, Garrin Jackson, Brady Bogart and Tyson Cheatham.

Cheatham doubled against De Soto.

Colby Stewart singled. Corbyn Meyers had a base hit. Barrett Gardner started the game, allowing six runs on nine hits in three innings. He struck out four.

Kobe Scrivner and Jackson pitched in relief. Scrivner gave up just one hit in two innings. Jackson pitched two innings of scoreless baseball.
