BONNER SPRINGS – Paola senior JJ Crawford ran for five touchdowns to lead the Panthers to a 47-6 victory on the road against the Bonner Springs Braves.The Paola Panthers scored on their first five possessions of the game, notching their first win of the season.Paola improved to 1-6.
SPRING HILL – For the seventh year in a row, the Spring Hill Lady Bronco volleyball team is the Frontier League champion.Spring Hill went 8-0 in league play.The Lady Broncos, who play a very tough Class 5A and 6A schedule, are 15-16 overall.“Our record doesn’t always show it this year, but our Broncos are very competitive,” Spring Hill coach Erica Book said.
