Sharon Kay Owens, 80, Spring Hill, Kansas passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at The Villages of Olathe. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Bruce Funeral Home, 712 S. Webster, Spring Hill, Kansas.  Sharon was born on February 3, 1944 in Springfield, Missouri to Wayland and Geraldine (Wright) Whiteley. She worked at USD 230 as a food service manager. Sharon lived in Spring Hill for 46 years. She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, watching birds and animals. Sharon had a passion for cooking and collecting covered bridges. She liked to listen to music and was fond of dancing. Sharon cherished the time she would spend reading the Bible. She dearly loved her grandchildren.
 Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and sister Patricia “Pat” O’Neill. She is survived by her children: Tammy (Bob) Warring, Olathe, Kansas, Kimberly Owens, Hume, Missouri, Becky Owens, Kansas City, Missouri, Timothy (Kara), Drexel, Missouri and Carrie (Bobby) Dale, Paola, Kansas and grandchildren: Zack (Jackie) Warring, Kayleigh Kollman and Rileigh Dale.
