LOUISBURG – A former employee of Timbercreek Bar & Grill in Louisburg is being investigated for reportedly manipulating receipts and stealing credit card information from customers. The Louisburg Police Department is asking anyone who visited the restaurant between the dates of July 31 and Aug.

PAOLA – Drivers will no longer have to navigate construction on Old Kansas City Road south of Paola, as the extensive improvement project is complete. The rehabilitation project stretched from just south of Paola to U.S.

PAOLA - Paola High School senior Marlee Bell has joined the staff of The Miami County Republic for a semester internship. Marlee was paired with the Republic through an internship program at the high school supervised by Jenni Walterman, IPS and real world learning coordinator.
