Beverly Elaine (Sloan) Steger of Louisburg, Kansas, passed away on September 25, 2024 at the age of 89.

She leaves behind her beloved husband Tom W. Steger of 71 years, her three children Douglas (Angie) Steger of Blue Springs, MO, Kim Steger of Overland Park, KS, Tracy (Anthony) Daniel of Milpitas CA, two granddaughters, Aimee (Corey) Trentham and Kristie Steger and two great grandchildren, many family members and friends that she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Stephen Steger and parents Cecil James and Ester (Bybee) Sloan. 

Beverly was a member of the New Heaven Seventh Day Adventist Church. After retirement from the mortgage business, she was the Director of the Louisburg Senior Center for many years and continued to volunteer in the kitchen several days of the week and enjoyed working in her garden. She was also the Louisburg Citizen of the Year in 2017 and loved to volunteer and give her time to others. 

A celebration of life open house will be held at the Louisburg Senior Center on October 20, 2024 from 1-3 PM. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to the Louisburg Senior Center.
