NEODESHA, Kan. - The Louisburg Lady Cats won the Class 4A regional cross country meet at Riverwalk Park in Neodesha, punching their tickets to the state meet in Wamego.

EUDORA – The Paola Panthers had a tough time on the road against the Frontier League champion Eudora Cardinals.

IOLA – Parker Schwarz ran for five touchdowns as the Prairie View Buffalos defeated Iola 52-20 to win the district title.

SPRING HILL – On a cold, wet evening in Spring Hill, the Broncos rolled to a 49-7 victory against Louisburg.

MOUND CITY – The Osawatomie Lady Trojans were 2-1 to win the Class 3A regional championship to advance to substate.

TOPEKA – Ashley Anderson and Hannah Mathy led the Spring Hill Lady Broncos at the Class 5A state tennis tournament at the Kossover Tennis Center in Topeka.

PAOLA – Cruz Guzman and Gage Burchett scored goals within two minutes of each other in the second half, leading the Paola Panthers soccer team to a 2-1 victory against Bishop Seabury on senior night.

LOUISBURG – The Louisburg Wildcats football team sent their seniors out with a 20-13 victory against the Ottawa Cyclones.

EMPORIA – Defensive end Brooks Bayer recovered a fumble and ran it back for a touchdown as the Spring Hill Broncos defeated Emporia on the road.
