TOPEKA – Jalyn Stevenson recorded a double-double for Washburn University in a season-opening win against Sioux Falls.Stevenson, a graduate of Spring Hill High School, recorded 12 kills and 17 digs in the match notching the 1,000th kill and 1,000th dig in her collegiate career.It was a big night for Stevenson and the Washburn University volleyball team that had to rally against Sioux Falls.Sioux Falls won the first two sets in the best three-of-five series, taking the first set 25-23 and the second set 30-28.Washburn University came right back, winning the third set 25-13 and the fourth set 25-17.
