Richard (Dale) Hink, 86, of Houston, Tx. passed away February 18, 2025.
Dale was born on September 8, 1938 to Earl and Wynona (June) Hink at Louisburg, Kansas.
Dale began a career with John Deere Co. in Kansas City, Mo when he was 20 years old, later transferring to Clovis, New Mexico, Amarillo, Tx. and then to San Antonio, Tx. in 1976 when accepting the position as South-West Territorial Manager. He retired from John Deere after 30 years and then opened his own John Deere dealership in Castroville Tx.
Dale loved the outdoors and enjoyed sporting activities such as fishing, hunting and camping.
Dale was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Barbara (Palmer) Hink, his father Earl Hink,
mother Wynona (June) Hink.
Dale is survived by his loving daughter, Kelley (Mike) Bibb of Houston, Tx., son Doug Hink of
Bandara, Tx., five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Sister Phyllis (Hink) Hollinger,
(Ron), brother Gary Hink, (Diana), and many nieces and nephews.
A family service was held on March 15, 2025 at Polly’s Chapel in Bandera County Tx.
