PAOLA — Emma Gage, who is going to be a junior this fall at Paola High School, is working to raise funds to attend a world leadership camp in July.

Gage attended the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) camp May 30 through June 2 in Manhattan. After that, she applied and was selected to attend the HOBY World Leadership Congress, which will take place July 20-27 in Chicago.

Gage now is working to raise about $2,000 before the end of June.

She is selling leadership T-shirts, which can be purchased by going online to www.bonfire.com/leadership-t-shirt-1/.

A GoFundMe page also has been established, and people can make donations by going online to www.gofundme.com and searching for Emma Gage.
