Frances Carolyn (Mitchell) Northern, Age 87, of Paola, KS, passed away on October 3rd 2024, surrounded by loving family.
Frances was born January 3rd 1937 in New Hampton, MO, the daughter of Lee and Agnes Mitchell.
Frances graduated Valedictorian of Spring Hill high school in 1955. Five months later she joined Kenneth Northern in marriage on November 20, 1955, at the Methodist church in Spring Hill, KS. They were happily married for 68 years.
She worked as a loving housewife, mother, and book keeper for the family business. She truly enjoyed antiquing, even having her own booth at Sentimental Journey in Olathe, KS for more than 20 years. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Paola.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth, two daughters, Terri (Douglas), Kristi (Joe), four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by all she left behind.
