GARY PALMER
 Gary Paul Palmer, 66, of Overland Park, KS, a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and Army National Guard, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, after a difficult battle with stroke-induced dementia.
 Gary was born on January 3, 1959, in Paola, Kansas, to Botlee Allen and Marie (Coleman) Palmer.
 Prior to his stroke, Gary worked for TSL Companies of Omaha, Nebraska, as an over-the-road driver.
 Gary married Cynthia “Cindi” Marie Henness on May 24, 1986, in Fontana, Kansas. She survives of the home.
 In his spare time, Gary loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, traveling as often as he could with Cindi, and serving with the Patriot Guard of Kansas and on other charity rides.
 Survivors include his daughters, Elizabeth Hall of the home and Jessica Kellough of Independence, MO; stepchildren, Jennifer Wilson of Osawatomie, KS, and Clint Wilson of Olathe, KS; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara Ring of Lawrence, KS.
 He was preceded in death by his parents, Botlee and Marie; sister, Marie Hiatt; and brothers, James David and Botlee Jr.
