The Campbell family makes a stop to photograph the bunny at the Louisburg Aquatic Center on Saturday, April 11, during the Louisburg Recreation Commission's "Easter Bunny Hunt." The scavenger hunt allowed families to stay in their vehicles and take photos of bunnies at various undisclosed locations. Families had to solve the clues provided in emails to find each bunny. Forty-five families signed up for the emails, and 14 teams found all the bunnies. Those 14 families' names were put in a raffle and three names were drawn for Easter baskets filled with prizes. There were no mass gatherings and everyone stayed in their vehicles with their families, according to Diana Moore, LRC director.

Paola City Council member Leigh House didn't let the COVID-19 pandemic keep her from watching an online Easter service broadcast by Cross Point Cross Point Church in Paola. "Much is different right now, but all of the most important things we celebrate about our faith remain the same," House said. "The message of the cross doesn't change."
