Marsha Adams and Nick Scheffer hand out personal hygiene kits to Osawatomie USD 367 families Saturday, Aug. 7, at Trojan Elementary during the annual Serving Our Students (S.O.S.) event organized by the Osawatomie Rotary Club. Scheffer, president of the Osawatomie Rotary Club, said organizers were nervous about obtaining enough supplies for 200-plus students, with lots of items on back order or in short supply due to the pandemic. But he was happy to report they were able to collect all the needed supplies.
