SAINT CHARLES, Mo. — Konnor Vohs and his shotgun sports team at Lindenwood University recently were recognized for their success in shooting sports and in the classroom.
Vohs and his teammates won the National Collegiate Shooting Sport Athletic Association Clay Target National Championships in Las Vegas in March.
The team was recognized at the Lindenwood University sports banquet for their national championship and for being named Academic High Performers.
Konnor Vohs, a graduate of Louisburg High School, was the NCAA Division I National Skeet Champion, National Skeet Team Champions, Sporting Clay Team runner-up and won the Federal High Over All Collegiate Cup.
“The National Collegiate Shooting Sports Athletic Association Championships were successful,” Vohs said. “I was blessed to be surrounded and supported by family, friends, and teammates all week. The Lindenwood Shotgun Sports team brought home many accolades and performed very well.”
Vohs, a sophomore at Lindenwood University, is an accounting major. He is the son of Kevin and Cassie Vohs of Louisburg.
